  212. \fBJclean\fP is the Jaquith disk cleaner. By and large it's
  213. invoked automatically as disk space becomes tight. (See
  214. the \fB-disklow\fR and \fB-diskhigh\fR options on Jaquith.)
  215.  
  216. However, Jclean can be invoked manually if needed. By default
  217. it cleans all archives listed in the Jaquith root.
  218. i.e. it looks in all subdirectories \fB*.arch\fR in the Jaquith root.
  219. Use the \fB-arch\fR option to restrict the cleaning to a specific
  220. archive.

  222. Jclean writes data to tape in Posix \fBtar\fR format.
  223. If necessary data on Jaquith tapes can be retrieved using:
  224. \fBtar xvfb \fIdevice\fB 64\fR.
